Every safe delivery follows the same disciplined routine — from the first phone call to the signed delivery note. Here are the five steps our operations team follows on every load.
1. Confirm Product, Volume and Route
Every job starts with four details: product (diesel or petrol), volume in litres, pickup depot or terminal, and the delivery point. Confirming these up front lets us assign the right tanker and schedule without delays.
2. Inspect Before Loading
Drivers complete a pre-trip inspection — tyres, brakes, hoses, valves and emergency equipment — before any fuel flows. A tanker that fails any check does not load, no exceptions.
"Safety is not a step in the process. Safety is the process."
— Primera Haulage operations manual
3. Load Under Supervision
Loading happens at licensed depots with quantity verification and vapour, spill and static controls in place. Seals and documentation are completed before the tanker moves.
4. Transit on Compliant Routes
Drivers follow approved routes with regular check-ins until arrival. Consistent communication means customers always know where their fuel is and when it will arrive.
5. Discharge, Verify and Sign Off
Offloading is supervised with a safety perimeter, spill kit at hand and quantity checks against the delivery note — signed by both driver and receiver before the job closes.

Great breakdown! The supervised discharge step is exactly what we experience — always on time with paperwork in order.
Thank you! Consistency and safety checks on every load — reach out any time for scheduled supply.
Would love a follow-up on industrial site deliveries specifically. Very relevant for our depot planning.
